SAEED SASSAN

CHIEF EXCECUTIVE OFFICER


Born in Tehran, Iran, Mr. Sassan graduated from the National University School of Architecture and Urban Design of Iran in 1974, completing a Master of Arts program in Architecture and Urban Design.  Mr. Sassan became an U. S. Naturalized Citizen in 1986.

Mr. Sassan is highly experienced in architectural design, construction techniques, project management, accounting, administration, computer skills and overall business administration and actively oversees the day-to-day business of 101 Construction Company.  Mr. Sassan understands each project from the viewpoint of the owner, architects, financial institutions, and the contractor.

1993-Present:  CEO of 101 Construction Company - involved in all aspects of construction and management activities. Competitive governmental and private bids, restaurants, amphitheater at Nashville Zoo, tenant build-outs, office buildings, and hotel/motels are just a few of the projects to be mentioned as the company’s accomplishments.  Additionally, a custom home located at Granny White Pike has been drawing national interest.

1986 - 1993:    President of Unicon Construction Company.  Active in competitive bid market for governmental and private sector projects as well as the negotiating process to contract a variety of projects.  Some of his achievements included Metro Southeast Library, an office building at Arnold Air Force Base, renovation of Metro Jail, recycling plant in Williamson County, a 50,000 sq. ft. electronic manufacturing facility, three motels, more than 36 restaurants newly built or remodeled, total renovation of a 93,000 sq. ft. shopping center, completion of a multi-family dwelling and numerous office space tenant buildouts.  The company’s revenue increased from $350,000 to $5,000,000 in five years.

1980 - 1986:    Construction Manager and Purchasing Director of N.R.C.  Responsible for supervision of all company construction including new construction, remodeling and all the equipment required.  Major projects consisted of restaurants such as Pizza Hut, Fiesta Cantina, Stable Steakhouse, Brentwood Executive Center office building and the Hendersonville Plaza shopping center.

1973 - 1980:    NUKAR construction Company, Tehran, Iran.  Staff Architect and construction site supervisor for a number of government projects, such as a 600 unit multi-family dwelling in the port of Bandar-Abbas for the Air Force, two libraries in Isfahan, a 200-bed hospital in Ahwaz for the Army, a multi-family dwelling in Khoramshar for the Air Force.

 


KATHY AMINMADANI

PRESIDENT

Born in Tehran, Iran, Ms. Aminmadani graduated from the National University of Iran, completing a Master of Arts program in Architecture and Urban Design, 1974.  Prior to her University education, Ms. Aminmadani completed high school with a diploma majoring in pre-Engineering Studies.

During the spring of 1986, she completed a three-hour course in drawing in order to familiarize herself with U. S. standards.

Ms. Aminmadani became a Naturalized U. S. citizen in 1996.

1996 - Present:  101 Construction Company, Brentwood, TN.  Ms. Aminmadani is presently the President and oversees the direction of the CAD operators in their day-to-day operations.  Ms. Aminmadani has worked on all major building projects including motels, office buildings, restaurants, subdivisions, housing, and the custom home, which is drawing national attention.

1995 - 1996:  Hayes & Associates, Nashville, TN.  Design work involving commercial and industrial projects.

1990 - 1992:  Unicon Construction Company, Brentwood, TN.  Design work involving libraries, office buildings, jail renovation, motels, restaurants, shopping center renovation, and tenant build-outs.

1986 - 1990:  MG & Associates, Nashville, TN.  Principal responsibility was in design and working drawings for residential and light industrial projects.

1976 - 1979:  Ministry of Agriculture, Tehran, Iran.  Architect in charge of Department for Design and Engineering involved with large scale residential projects as well as small motels.

1974 - 1976:  Ministry of Agriculture, Tehran, Iran.  Staff Architect involving design, contractor coordination and field inspection.

1969 - 1974:  Design Assistant and creating working drawings in several architectural firms.

 

 

AHMAD T. AZIMIPOUR, P.E.
ENGINEERING MANAGER

 

Mr. Ahmad “Tony” Azimipour has a remarkable background in the engineering field, with an excellent track record in successful design/build construction projects.  He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering in 1978 from Southern University, Baton Rouge, LA, and his Master of Engineering degree in General Engineering in 1980, and is certified with the Professional Engineering Registration in both Tennessee and Georgia.  Mr. Azimipour is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineering and the National/Tennessee Society of Professional Engineers. 
 
2008 – PRESENT:  Mr. Azimipour is serving as Engineering Manager for 101 Construction Company. As such, he is responsible for daily engineering operations in the office and in the field, working with architects, engineers, and surveyors for completion of project drawings and documentation. 

1999 - 2007:  Azimtech Engineering, Hendersonville, TN.  Owner/Engineer for full service civil and structural engineering design/build company.

1996 - 1999:  101 Construction Company, Brentwood, TN.  Engineering Manager, responsible for daily engineering and technical operations in the office and in the field.  Civil and structural design calculation for in-house projects.  Worked in liaison with architects, engineers, and surveyors for completion of project drawings and documentation.  Coordination with project managers and superintendents for problem solving, progress reports, and site inspections.

1995 - 1996:  Project Management Engineering, Inc., Columbia, TN.  Provided complete design calculations for various civil & structural engineering projects, project management, estimating, check and seal shop drawings, and site inspections for ongoing commercial and industrial projects.

1994 - 1995:  C & M Metals, Inc., Franklin, KY.  Provided complete structural engineering services for commercial and industrial buildings, project management, review shop drawings, site inspections, estimating and builders support of ongoing projects.

1984 - 1994:  Kirby Building Systems, Inc., Portland, TN.  Senior Structural Engineer.  Independently analyzed, designed and did the structural calculation of complex steel structures and components of commercial and industrial buildings.  Utilization of other construction materials, equipment applications with steel structures; check and seal engineering calculations and shop drawings; develop and maintain Engineering Desing Manual, use computer stand alone design aids, in-house structural calculation/design programs, and provided technical supervision to draftin, estimating, customer service and builders.  Excellent working knowledge of AISC, AISI, MBMA Specifications, ANSI, BOCA, SBS, UBC, and other state codes, standards and specifications. 

1982 – 1984:  VAZ Developments, Inc., Tulsa, OK.  Design and Technical Engineer.  Prepared structural foundations design calculations of commercial and multi-family buildings utilizing concrete, masonry, steel, and timber construction.  Cost estimating, site inspection, and drafting supervision. 



LONNIE HARPER

CONTROLLER

Mr. Lonnie Harper has a degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN.  Mr. Harper joined 101 Construction in 1998, and his extensive knowledge and experience in accounting, the construction industry, and our company itself is invaluable in our daily operations.  Responsible for all financial transactions, management, and reporting, Mr. Harper also serves as System Administrator for our in house network. 

PRESENTLY:  As Controller, Mr. Harper is responsible for all accounting functions for 101 Construction Company, including job management, budgeting, cash flow, and financial statements. 

PAST EXPERIENCE:

1993 - 1998:  Controller, Commonwealth Brands, Inc., Bowling Green, KY.  As the Accounting Manager/Controller, Mr. Harper selected and implemented the network accounting package for this medium sized manufacturing company and was responsible for supervision of all phases of the accounting cycle.

1992 - 1993:  Production Accountant, Hail & Cotton, Inc., Springfield, TN.  Responsibilities included collection of information and reporting on production yields, direct and indirect labor costs, and indepth cost analysis.

1989 - 1992:  Accountant, O.B. Lane & Son, Nashville, TN.  As Accountant for a steel fabrication and towing equipment installation facility, Mr. Harper was responsible for preparation of financial statements, sales & payroll tax returns, and maintenance of fixed asset and depreciation schedules.

1988 - 1989:  Revenue Agent.  Internal Revenue Service, Nashville, TN.  Conducted field examinations of individual, proprietorship, and corporate tax returns.

1986 - 1988:  Accountant, Auto Bumper, Inc., Nashville, TN.  Prepared monthly journal entries, financial statements, and account reconciliations.  Filed sales and payroll tax returns, and prepared payroll.

1983 - 1986:  Financial Staff Accountant, State Industries, Inc., Ashland City, TN.  Responsible for monthly journal entries and financial statements, general ledger account audits, bank reconciliations.



TAMMIE J. JORDAN
OPERATIONS MANAGER

With over 20 years of experience in operations management, Tammie has a demonstrated background of sound business judgement with well-developed planning, administrative, and operational skills at a consistently high level of performance. 

PRESENTLY:  Ms. Jordan serves as Operations Manager for 101 Construction Company.  Responsibilities include supervision of all daily administrative and operational functions, coordination of staff members to ensure that all deadlines are met as required. 

PAST EXPERIENCE: 

2002 - 2007:  Southern Resorts, Destin, FL.  As Director of Property Management, Ms. Jordan was responsible for all aspects of field operations for a large, well established property management company.  Areas of responsibility included the direct supervision of all property management, maintenance, and housekeeping operations.  She has extensive experience in cost control analysis, staff training, contract coordination, and disaster (hurricane) preparedness and recovery.

1986 - 2001:  The Hines Group, Owensboro, KY.  As Controller for all small business entities, Ms. Jordan was responsible for daily operations, supervision, and accounting for a variety of small business entities, holding the title of Practice Administrator for an urgent care center, Controller for the property management side of a medical office building, Controller/General Manager for a health club, Controller for the then largest child care center in Western Kentucky, and Employment Advertising Coordinator for the corporate group.

BEN MASON

All Construction Superintendents employed by 101 Construction are extremely well qualified and have extensive experience in the construction industry.  With solid management experience, strong people skills, and years of “hands on” experience, our jobsites are some of the safest, most efficiently run in the business.

101 Construction strives to schedule projects in such a manner that we are able to match the “right” superintendent with the right job site, and each of these three gentlemen have areas of expertise that complement our company’s design/build philosophy.
